Although Rappahannock Legal Services is a nonprofit, we still have all of the overhead and legal expenses of a law firm while continuing to provide top level care to the underprivileged. This provides for an interesting challenge as it takes more funding than we usually have to provide these office supply basics. Our new program director is a super saver and is extremely good at clipping coupons. This has slashed operating costs considerably but the funding gap is still there. We appreciate any non-monetary, in-kind donations that individuals and private businesses can provide to help us cover the cost of everyday operating expenses. While these donations cover only a fraction of the operating costs, they allow us to spread our scarce resources into other places allowing more people benefit from our services.

Our current wish list:

Office equipment (late model scanners, laptops, printers, shredders, copiers)
Office supplies (ink, paper, etc.)
High-dollar items to sell at our silent auction/raffle fundraisers
